Size does matter

Size does matter

On Saturday we took Ari to a birthday party picnic at the park. It's a nice yearly tradition and this year it was a small gathering of about 1000000 close friends and relatives.
I thought Ari was very well behaved. Most older kids wanted to play with him, and even though one little boy kept throwing his toys at him and took his Kong, Ari was remarkably calm.
He discovered a cheesecake covered fork under a table and turned into a contortionist squeezing his upper half under a bench with his butt  high in the air.  For the rest of the party he was searching for another fork....Too bad the birthday girl's miniature poodle Cosmo was scared of him (apparently he is scared of big dogs) and had to ride it out on her lap.  Just like I read somewhere a while back....the reality of pet politics is that size does matter.
The group picture taking is also a tradition. From year to year you can see little kids turn into teenagers...Assembling of the crowd takes a while - here's a photo of those who managed to fit in - this year it includes Ari.
